The State of Arkansas - in the early 1980s, the State of Arkansas wanted to widen a road and discovered an old family cemetery that had been lost for years. The contacted the descendents, one of whom was my mother. Her mother had frequently spoken of the little family cemetery. They took a trip and wondered around the little town of Judsonia, Arkansas. That little jaunt sparked my mother's interest in her family's history. She came back with a folder full of documents she collected on that trip and was hooked. Dad, of course had to get in on the action and he knew his cousin had done a lot of work on their common ancestors.
Ann Daberko - pug4u@netzero.net Our cousin. Dad was right, Annie had been working for some years on their shared lines. She was a wealth of information. Annie and Daddy continued to work together for the remainder of his life and shared many wonderful genealogy excursions. Annie has been a godsend to me. Surnames: Steward, Boatner, Garrett, Cain, Stratton, Wines, Simmons, Stice, Seely, Darby, Smart, Huddleston and more.
